This camp is open to youth entering grades 6 - 10 in the fall.

Create your own art journal from a deconstructed hardback book. A junk journal is a handmade book made of recycled and up-cycled materials. It is an art project, journal, and scrapbook all in one! Campers will learn how to make decorative pages, envelope pages, pages for sketching and watercolor, and then use a variety of binding techniques to create their own book. In between project steps, we will make additional paper crafts such as mini-zines, bookmarks, tags, and ephemera that can be included in the final journal construction. A wide variety of mediums and techniques offer campers endless creative possibilities. Our day will also include outdoor activities and games.
